Rwanda National Congress - RNC

Rwanda National Congress (RNC) is a Rwandan opposition organization in exile, established in the United States on December 12, 2010, with a mission grounded in advancing peace, freedom, and equal rights for all Rwandans. We exist to address socio-political challenges by advocating for a governance system that prioritizes fairness, accountability, and inclusive representation. Guided by internationally recognized human rights principles promulgated by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, and other international conventions, we support the protection of civil liberties, including freedom of thought, association, and religion.

Our work centers on fostering dialogue, awareness, and collective action that empowers individuals and communities to envision a more equitable future. Through engagement and advocacy, RNC remains committed to promoting a nation where every citizen has access to opportunity, justice, and lasting stability.

Through the pillars of Peace, Unity, and Freedom, we strive to transform the nation into a rule-of-law state that protects human rights and fosters inclusive prosperity for all.

Our Vision Statement

Rwanda will be a united, democratic, and prosperous nation inhabited by free citizens with harmonious and safe communities who will live together in peace, dignity and mutual respect, regardless of ethnic or other differences, within a democracy governed according to universal principles of human rights and the rule of law.
